Walking In The Anointing . . .
To walk in the anointing means to walk in a way that is
compatible with the character and nature of the Holy Spirit.
The Word of God reveals that we are able to do “all things through,” and in,
“Christ” (the anointing of The Anointed One) which, not Who, by the way,
continually strengthens us:
I can do all things through Christ which
strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13 (KJV)
It is “Christ” (the anointing of the Anointed One) in
us, the hope of present glory, that reveals the riches of the glory of God’s
mystery among us.
To whom God would make known what is the riches of
the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the
hope of glory: Colossians 1:27 (KJV)
We walk with a holy confidence that allows us to
exhibit the Divine Presence within, and upon, our lives during our time on
earth. Our character and nature takes on the attributes of the Christ,
Jesus, the Logos of God, and so God is seen in demonstration in the world.
His great power, resurrection power, can be released through us and we can
accomplish things we could never do alone.
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from
the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also
quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:11
(KJV)
Resurrection power is within each believer. Now,
nothing is impossible to, and for, those in faith.
What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe
that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:23-24 (KJV)
Will we dare believe the unalterable, unstoppable Word
of the Living God? Will we set ourselves to see His Word performed with the
same focused commitment that He, Himself has?
Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I
am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12
(Amp)
Standing On The Promises . . .
To stand on the promises of God’s Word
is to walk in a way that is compatible with the character and nature of the Holy
Spirit. There is never a time when it can be said that the Holy Spirit or Christ
Jesus did not validate what God had said. We can see that Jesus was so settled
in His relationship with the Father that He would speak or act upon the Word of
God without hesitation. In fact, He would not even venture to speak nor act on
His own.
Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the
Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of
myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. John 8:28
(KJV) (also Joh. 5:19; 8:38)
This shows absolute trust in the promises and
directives of God the Father. The record of the Holy Spirit is the same:
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he
will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but
whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things
to come. John 16:13 (KJV)
What every one of us who are born-again believers needs
to consider is that, if we would place the same trust in the Word of God
that the Godhead (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) does, we could do what Jesus
did. Isn’t this what Jesus told those who followed Him?
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on
me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall
he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12 (KJV)
Let’s take a walk in the anointing and stand on the
promises found in God’s Word to us. It just could be that as we do, revival
will come and sweep our land. God, who cannot lie, said in 2 Cor. 6:16 “I
will dwell in [you]” and “I will walk in [you].” With a promise like that
what is impossible now? - Selah
Wake Up Time
There is a stirring in the realm of the Spirit of
supplications. Intercessors are being birthed of those who are taking the time
to pray. This is a critical hour and the Lord will not be without a prophetic
voice among the people.
Romans 13:11 (AMP) Besides this you know what [a critical]
hour this is, how it is high time now for you to wake up out of your sleep
(rouse to reality). For salvation (final deliverance) is nearer to us now
than when we first believed (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Christ,
the Messiah).
It is time for the Church to arise, shake itself and
wake up out of its sleep. As the Amplified Bible says, "rouse to reality." The
reality is that "salvation (final deliverance) is nearer" than many think. Jesus
is coming back soon; sooner than you may believe.
He is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle; a
glorious church, a bride that is perfectly adapted and suited to Him.
Ephesians 5:27 (KJV) . . . a glorious church, not having
spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without
blemish.
1 John 3:2 (KJV) . . . it doth not yet appear what we shall
be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall
see him as he is.
His Bride, the Church, will
speak like He speaks and do what He did. In fact, She will do greater works than
He as she waits for Him to return for her. She shall demonstrate Him who is
Resurrection.
1 Corinthians 2:4 (KJV) And my speech and my preaching [are
to be], in demonstration of the Spirit
and of power.
John 14:12 (KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that
believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than
these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. He will come to her before He
comes for her.
By His Word He instructs and equips and by His Spirit He prepares,
energizes and enables His Bride to take her place at His side at His return.
The Awakening
Isaiah 52:1-2 (KJV) Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O
Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for
henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the
unclean. Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem:
loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
I cannot emphasize enough that the Lord has said that He is shaking all that can be shaken in order to
reveal that which cannot be shaken. The old wineskin must be shaken and broken
before the new can be built. He will tear down and He will build up where it is
needed. Old habits and ways of doing things will be done away with so that His
way will be made straight and uncluttered. To those, His remnant, who abide in
the Vine and cannot be shaken He has promised to continue to build and
establish.
Jeremiah 42:10 (KJV) If ye will still abide in this land,
then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not
pluck you up: . . .
Those who know Him will do exploits in prayer and intercession and then manifest the Word of God in signs,
wonders and miracles. This is why I am so excited about our 6:00 P.M. Friday
evening Awakening Las Vegas Prayer Hour.
Daniel 11:32 (KJV) . . . the people that do know their God
shall be strong, and do exploits. Those who watch and wait learn to hear the
Voice of God. Having heard, they shall decree what they hear
and it shall be so in order for the lost to recognize the Lord and His Church.
These are thrilling times in which to live. This will change the world.
Daniel 4:17 (KJV) This matter is by the decree of the
watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the
living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it
to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
When you pray
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when
thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father
which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain
repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for
their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth
what things ye have need of, before ye ask him (Matthew 6:6-8 KJV).
We do not read, "if you pray," we read "when you pray." This
is the life flow of a truly transformed individual. One who has been forever
translated from darkness to His marvelous light. It is the very breath of that
individual who has "put on the new nature" by being born of the Spirit.
Many there are who call themselves Christian but who do not
look, talk, nor live any differently than they did when they "said the sinners
prayer." Their desire to spend time with the "lover of their soul" is missing
the passion of a heart set on fire with the love of God. Something is definitely
missing in the relationship.
Intimacy is meant to be shared in private, not in public
view. The call to prayer is a call into the secret place to share what only
those in covenant may share with one another. Our God has called to His beloved
to set aside the world and all of it’s demands to spend some quality time with
Him.
He asks that we take off our religious garments and come to
Him in transparent fashion so that nothing separates the One from another. It is
not about incessant speaking, but intimate communication that touches the heart
in a manner that is similar to the bow of a violin in the hand of the Master.
With such times of prayer there comes a promise of open
reward:
. . . [He] is a rewarder of them that
diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6
