A New Wine in 2009
It is impossible to put new wine in old wineskins. The old
wineskin is dry and inflexible; unable to move and expand to the change of
fermenting wine. It takes new wineskins that are supple and able to expand with
the quickening of the new wine.
New wine is ever expanding, the action of fermentation, a
quickening, if you will. Scripture speaks of this new wine saying,
Neither do men put new wine into old bottles [wineskins]:
else the bottles [wineskins] break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles
[wineskins] perish: but they put new wine into new bottles [wineskins], and both
are preserved. (Matthew 9:17) (Mk. 2:22; Lk. 5:37)
According to Acts 2:13-18, new wine is a type of the Holy
Spirit.
Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine . . . For
these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the
day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to
pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see
visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my
handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Beloved, You and I are living in the age of this pouring out
of the Spirit of God. We are living in the time of the manifestation of signs,
wonders and miracles that accompany the end times.
For God to accomplish what He has planned will take an
awakening that will cause every serious believer to become a new wineskin that
can hold and dispense His new wine.
This is the time of a great AWAKENING. This is the year when
old wineskins will be set aside and new wineskins brought forth to be filled
with the New Wine of the Spirit of Burning. The Coal off of the Altar will
purify and empower His Bride.
2009 is the year of making New Wineskins.
2009 is the year of New Wine.
Line Upon Line in 2009
Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord God, when I will
send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but [a
famine] for hearing the words of the Lord. Amos 8:11 (AMP)
There is a Shaking of all that can be shaken which will prove that which
cannot be shaken. The Lord is rebuilding His Glorious Church line upon line,
precept upon precept and here a little and there a little, in order to make
ready the coming of the King (Isa. 28:10, 13 KJV).
Before He comes for her, He will come to her in demonstration of the power of
resurrection. He will adorn her until she be like Him in word and deed.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the
works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do;
because I go unto my Father. John 14:12 (KJV)
These years of famine will prove to be the greatest shaking, and awakening of
the church and society that the world has ever seen. As the awakened Church,
filled with new wine, begins to perceive her hour, she will begin to ask for her
inheritance and God will hear and give it:
Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine
inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession. Psalm
2:8
The sheep have been scattered as those who have no shepherd (Eze. 34: 5, 8)
but are being re-gathered and brought to the waters of life and good pastures of
the Word preached in the purity of truth in love (Psa. 23:2).
They are becoming new wineskins, filled with the new wine of the Holy Ghost
and transformed by the Word. Flexible and yielded to the Holy Spirit these new
wineskin believers are willing to lay down their lives for the cause of the Lord
of Harvest, Jesus the King.
They are led, fed and cared for by the Lord’s shepherds and abide securely in
the house of God. They shall know the Great Shepherd of the sheep and will begin
to come and go with Him as the Porter (the Holy Spirit) directs (Joh. 10:3-5).

Ninety-five . . .
Ninety-five people have given
their hearts and lives to Jesus through the ministry of Wellspring so far this
year. That is fantastic! Another six people have rededicated their lives to our
Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
Twenty of these people are, or were, in prison. Forty-six
are, or were, in hospice, facing death with out hope until they met the Master.
The other twenty-eight are people who came to Christ through
the witness of our members among their families and friends.
That’s over thirteen people each and every month of the year.
They are from every walk of life. Some earn six figure
incomes, while others are dependent upon food stamps but there is a common
thread of life experience shared with each of them. They were lost and now they
are saved!
Families are being reunited as individuals are being
restored. Destructive addictions are being left behind as the Spirit of the Lord
works miracles in emotions, thought lives and the physical bodies of those who
have embraced the good news of the Gospel. Even those who say,"I’m a good
person" are being transformed by His love and grace.
Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday,
today, [yes] and forever (to the ages). Hebrews 13:8 (AMP)
Oh, yes, Jesus still saves, heals and delivers! He changes
not. He still gives good gifts to men. He is still bringing men to the new birth
experience as He draws them into His family with cords of love.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and
cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither
shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we
should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. James 1:17-18 (KJV)
Jesus . . . said . . ., Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3 (KJV)
What Is Your Condition?
Now, more than ever, there is a need for you to take a hard
look at where you stand with God. Your religion will not save you. Your parents
faith will not save you. Your believing in God and His Son Jesus will not save
you. No! There is more to it than that. You must be born again.
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth,
and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou
shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart
man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation. Romans 10:8-10 (KJV)
Have you spoken with your mouth what you believe in your
heart? Have you told the King of Glory that you want Him to come and be, not
just Savior, but Lord of your life?
If you were to stand in a court of Law, on trial for your
faith, would there be enough evidence to convict you? I’m not trying to condemn
you at all, but to challenge you to step up to the mark of the high calling of
Christ (Phil. 3:14). Have you ever experienced the passion of the prophet,
Isaiah, when he said, "Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean
lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have
seen the King, the Lord of hosts" (Isaiah 6:5 KJV).
Revival is in the air. God is moving on the face of our
nation and the world. The Spirit of the Lord is looking for those who will join
the Lord of the harvest in searching for the lost and dying in our world.
Imagine what you could do if you would but join forces with
God Himself. Imagine what could be accomplished. Imagine how many souls could be
won, saved from eternal hell. Imagine.
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I
send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. Isaiah 6:8 (KJV)

The Power of One . . .
Have you ever been driving down the street and run out of gas?
Thank God, I’ve not had this kind of thing happen in a long, long time,
but I do remember when once it did. I had 1949 Ford convertible that weighed,
what seemed to be, a ton.
I jumped out of the car and began to push (one hand on the steering
wheel and the other on the door jamb. I was going no where fast until a
young man came running from the side walk and began to push with both hands
on the trunk.
Suddenly, the impossible task of pushing the car up into the
nearest gas station was accomplished and I was able to fill up and get
on my way.
All it took to turn an impossible situation into a success was
the power of one. The strength of one more person was all I needed that
hot summer day. One person coming along side me made all the difference
in the world.
Many of us are trying to get through life, build a family, build
a business or build a church by ourselves. This is futility, because God
has designed us to need each other. We each have built in limits that require
that we enlist the help of the power of one.
One friend, one mentor, one counselor or one person praying
for you can change your life for ever. The Bible is full of stories about
men and women who joined with another to do champion great causes and win
against overwhelming odds.
Barak enlisted the wisdom of Deborah, David enlisted the help
of Jonathan, Jonathan waged war with only the aid of his armor bearer.
Paul had Silas, Peter worked with John and even Jesus entrusted his mother
to the care of the Apostle John.
Each understood the power of one as mentioned in Ecclesiastes
4:10-12 (Amp):
“For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe
to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again,
if two lie down together, then they have warmth; but how can one be warm
alone?
And though a man might prevail against him who is
alone, two will withstand him . . .”.
The Power of Agreement . . .
The power of agreement is the power of one. When one joins with another
in agreement they become as one. This unity releases multiplied authority
and power.
“Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize
together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything]
they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in
heaven” (Matthew 18:19 Amp).
“The power of one leaves no place for srife, division or destruction. Unity
brings anointing and fulfills the plan and purpose of God.
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren
to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment poured on
the head, that ran down on the beard, even the beard of Aaron [the first
high priest], that came down upon the collar and skirts of his garments
[consecrating the whole body]. It is like the dew of [lofty] Mount Hermon
and the dew that comes on the hills of Zion; for there the Lord has commanded
the blessing, even life forevermore [upon the high and the lowly]” (Psalm
133:1-3 Amp).
The unity that Jesus maintained with the Father while He was on the
earth brought instant miracles with every word He spoke because He only
spoke what He heard the Father say. He was walking in the power of agreement,
in the power of one and He prayed that we would do the same.
“That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are
in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world
may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me” (John 17:21 Amp).
The resulting manifestation of God in and through our lives would be the
testimony that would answer His prayer, “that the world may believe and
be convinced that You have sent Me,” and would draw the lost to repentance
and salvation.
One Drop of Water . . .
One drop of water is pretty insignificant here in the desert lands of
the Las Vegas valley. Usually, even a light shower will evaporate before
it enters the parched rock and sand landscape.
Water is vital to life, especially life in the desert. Nothing can survive
without it. Many are the bones left to bleach in the blistering hot sun
of the deserts of the world.
This year, after several years of drought, there has
been wave after wave of steady soaking rains. In January, three or four
inches of snow blanketed everything and slowly melted into the thirsting
soil. Now, everything in the once barren desert is turning green.
Our nation has been going through a time of spiritual
drought. The people have been barren in the things of the Spirit. The old
ways have been forgotten. The Word is shut up in mouths of the few, like
water held in precious cisterns for those who know where to find it.
Then, there was a drop of rain. A President, an inauguration,
men of God given a public forum began to salt the clouds of a nation.
My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall
distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers
upon the grass: Deut. 32:2 (KJV)
It is possible that it evaporated even before it touched
the hardened ground of the people’s hearts. Yet, there seems to be a slightly
green tinge to the landscape. There are signs of life where they were unseen.
Small cracks in the ground where the seed is beginning to respond to the
Sun of Righteousness in soil stirred by the winds of change.
Which the clouds do drop
and distil upon man abundantly. Job 36:28 (KJV)
Clouds gather, looking dark and threatening to those who don’t know
the touch of the rains of God. Yet, to those who desire to live,
to those thirsting for a refreshing touch, there is a strange stirring
that calls higher than this present darkness
Drop Down . . .
Drop down,
ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let
the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness
spring up together; I the Lord have created it. Isaiah 45:8 (KJV)
One drop, then two, cooling, settling,
changing, then three, and more. One drop, insignificant, almost impotent,
but together, subduing even the driest stretch of humanity’s stony heart.
Even the hardest flint will be worn away with the continual dripping of
one drop after another.
You may have been dropping your word
upon the most dry, inhospitable portion of humanity that the world has
ever seen, but now you will receive your reward. Son
of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south,
and prophesy . . . Ezekiel 20:46 (KJV)
Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy
word toward the holy places, and prophesy . . , Ezekiel 21:2 (KJV)
The Breath of God, The Wind of Heaven, is speaking to
you and I, “Prophesy!” Say to the mountains, “Drop down.” Say to the hills,
“Flow with milk,” Say to the Church, the House of the Lord, “Bring forth
your waters,” Call to the skies, “Rain!”
And it shall come to pass
in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills
shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters,
and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the Lord, and shall water
the valley of Shittim. Joel 3:18 (KJV)
The scourging of your detractors will cease and waters
will flow. Countless drops, come together, forming the rivers of Praise.
The glory of the Lord shall be seen upon the face of the whole earth. One
drop can make all the difference as it joins together with a multitude
and speaks its message.
Open Doors . . .
How often have you prayed for an open door of opportunity?
An opportunity to preach where you haven't preached before? an open door
that would allow you to move in circles that have been closed until now?
A call from a foreign land to come and your out your life in fertile soil?
A chance to step into realms of glory you have not yet experienced?
Today, beloved, is your day! Today, the doors of
opportunity are swinging open wide. Today, there are no barriers that can
stand. Today, is the day of promise, promotion and productivity.
I have heard the Lord so clearly say, "All that has gone
before has prepared you for today. No longer will there be those
hindering influences that drain your energy. No longer will there be the
mountains standing in the way. No longer will those who I have ordained
to help you be resisted in the realms of the spirit. Have I not said, 'For
the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall
speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely
come, it will not tarry' (Habakkuk 2:3 KJV)? So it has been, but you are
at the end, where it shall speak, and not lie. And, this shall not be a
thing that is tainted by the sweat of your brow. This will be a sovereign
move of My Spirit, with Whom you will move in such harmony that the two
shall be one. This is a sweeping wave of My glory that will usher in yet
another great revival that will cover the earth. For 'you which have
believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if
they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the
foundation of the world' (Hebrews 4:3 KJV). Enter, therefore, into My rest
and 'Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth' (Psalm 46:10 KJV). . . today."
I Am The Door . . .
The Son of man is seen at the door of heaven. How can
He Who is the Door be at the door? So Jesus said again, I assure you,
most solemnly I tell you, that I Myself am the Door for the sheep (John
10:7 Amp). And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth,
and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending
and descending on it. And, behold, the Lord stood above it, and said, I
am the Lord God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon
thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed (Genesis 28:12-13 KJV).
And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall
see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the
Son of man (John 1:51 KJV). In the working of His Spirit He comes
as the Way and as the One to Whom we come. He takes us by the hand and
leads us into the steps in the Rock that lead to the high places of God.
He moves us past every hindrance into the secret place of the Most High.
He is the Ladder, yet He greets us as the Door of Heaven and the Greeter
at the Door.
Today, He beckons us to press into revelation of Himself,
Who is the Rock, Who is the Rest, Who is the Door. In Him, in Him I say,
is the open door of opportunity that you seek. In Him is every obstacle
set aside. In Him, is access to every circle of influence. In Him, is promotion,
for it comes from the Lord. In Him, is the call to "Go ye therefore, and
teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and
of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" (Matthew 28:19 KJV). In Him, you will
hear the call, ?Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every
creature? (Mark 16:15 KJV).
Today, is your time of breaking forth into the fulness
of the plans and purposes of God that have been laid up in store for you
in the heart and mind of your Father.
One Nation Under God ...
Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee
a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou
shalt be a blessing:
God made a covenant with Abram to make of him a great
nation. This covenant has withstood
the test of time and has, and is, coming to pass. The
fourth chapter of the book of Romans shows us that the visible promised
nation of today is made up of every individual that names the name of Christ
Jesus as Lord and Savior. These are the people of faith. These are the
seed of Abraham.
We are a people chosen of God as surely as the Jewish
people of old. His choosing is a sovereign act of grace from the heart
of Him Who is Love. We can be neither puffed up with pride nor boastful
about our place because we had nothing to do with it.
1 John 4:19 We love him,
because he first loved us.
The undeserved, limitless love that God has bestowed upon
us makes us different and draws us into His plan and purpose while compelling
us to be a demonstration of daily, living praise.
The darkness that held us captive and controlled our
lives no longer has any influence upon us and we have become dispensers
of His marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are
a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people;
that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of
darkness into his marvelous light: Indivisible ...
We are the Lords.
Nothing can divide us. Nothing can separate us. We are,
and ever shall be One Nation Under God, Indivisible.
1 Peter 2:9 But ye
are ..., an holy nation, a peculiar people ...; Col. 2:2 That their
hearts might be ... knit together in love, ... Romans 8:35; 38, 39 Who
shall separate us from the love of Christ? ... I am persuaded, that neither
death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things
present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus
our Lord.
As we walk in unity, indivisible, great blessing remains
our rightful portion. As Gods Holy Nation we can claim our inheritance
in Christ Jesus even as He has claimed us as His own inheritance.
Psalm 33:12 Blessed is
the nation whose God is the Lord: and the people whom he hath chosen for
his own inheritance.
Let us demonstrate the resurrected Christ as we walk out
a life of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. The Lord is eager
to extol the virtues of His children, His righteous nation, to the world.
This gives us supernatural favor and esteem as we reach out to the nations
of the world.
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: ...
Open Heavens...
Deut. 28:12 The Lord shall open unto thee
his good treasure, the heaven to give therain unto thy land in his season,
and to bless all the work ofthine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations,
and thou shalt not borrow.
There is an Open Heaven for those who align themselves
with the will and purpose of God.
What can you expect as you live under an open heaven?
According to our verse above we can see that the "good treasure" of the
Lord is in heaven. Just as natural rain brings fruitfulness to the ground,
so does spiritual rain bring
fruitfulness to the life of the righteous. It brings
a blessing tobear on everything you do. This will cause you to prosper
so that you will have no debt, no setbacks, no losses. In fact, you will
prosper so much that you will become a lender to the Nations (one who blesses
the Nations.)!
How can you get the heavens to open for you? The secret
is found inthroughout Scripture but let me use Matthew 3:13-17 to explain
what I see. This is where Jesus came to John theBaptist and asked to be
baptized. John was hesitant because he knew Who Jesus was. But Jesus said,
Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness
(Matthew 3:15). In other words, position yourself inright standing with
God; Fulfill righteousness. It is becoming, fit and right for us to do
what pleases God. This, Beloved, will open the heavens for you! This is
the principle that is evidenced in Malachi:
Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes
into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me
now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows
of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough
to receive it.
Bringing the Tithe into the storehouse (the local church,
not the television, radio, or convention ministry, opens the windows of
heaven. We want the windows open, but we want more. Much, much more!
We don't just want a window open; we don't just want a door open; we want
a completely open heaven!
An open heaven will bring everything mentioned in Deuteronomy
28:12, everything mentioned in Malachi 3:10 along with what Jesus experienced
at His baptism.
1. Heavens Open! The treasuresof the Kingdom
are now available, reachable, and realized.
2. You will see the Holy Spirit.Your spiritual
eyes are opened like never before.
3. The Holy Spirit descends. Revelation comes!
His guiding Presence is stronger than ever.
4. You hear The Voice. The voice of God is
now clearly heard. Your direction is clear, distinct, and specific so that
you can obey without any doubt.
5. You are affirmed by the Father as His own.
He will say to you, You are my beloved child, and reveal you to the world.
Now, nothing is impossible! Glory! Open Heavens bring
you everything necessary for success in life. There is now absolutely No
Limit!
Now, nothing can stop you from living a holy, victorious,
productive, fruitful, exciting, life as you walk out the perfect will of
God! Nothing, that is, but yourself.
6. You will have to encounter and take dominion
over greater obstacles - greater, stronger opponents.(Matthew 4:1)
The great Good News is that it is written
guarantees your victory as you stand in faith believing. Greater
victories do take greater battles, but the good fight of faith is worth
the results. |
