Boma
Lawson was born to Mr. & Mrs. Franklin H. O. Lawson on September 9,
1959, in Buguma. He attended primary school in Buguma, Abalama, and Emelego,
all in Rivers State. He had his secondary education in King's College of
Commerce, Buguma, Rivers State, of Nigeria.
He became
born-again in November 1975 at the age of sixteen, during a crusade by
the Greater Evangelism (Nigeria) Crusade under the leadership of the Evangelist
G. D. Numbere, now an Apostle.
In 1976, he
had the call of God for ministry but waited after his college days.
After working
for some years, he resigned his secular job in 1984 in pursuance of the
call of God. Thereafter, served as Mission Director in one of the parishes
of the Greater Evangelism World Crusade. In order to further his education
he took a crash program with the University of Science and Technology in
1986.
God opened
a door for his ministerial training in the United States of America, and
he proceeded to the States in 1987 to attend Bible College at Shiloh
Training Institute, Hamilton, Montana.
He returned,
and later founded this ministry, which he oversees. He furthered his theological
education in Levites Christian University where he obtained a Bachelor
of Theology, in Missionary Education, a Masters in Christianity and Philosophy,
and a Doctorate in Ecclesiastical Law.
He is uniquely
very sensitive to the Holy Spirit and clothed with sensational healing
anointing where signs and wonders are characteristics of his ministry.
His prophetic ministry has brought tremendous blessing and direction to
many.
The Gospel
has taken him to the United States of America, Canada, the Republic of
Benin, and other parts of Africa.
Dr Boma has
authored many books.
He lost his
beloved wife in 2003 while on a missions trip to the United States. |
