In Loving Memory of Maryiann Sitton - Lover of God
HAMILTON - Maryiann Sitton, 89, of Hamilton, passed away Aug. 11, 2010 at the Discovery Care Center in Hamilton.
She was born Jan. 3, 1921 in Houston, Texas, daughter of the late John W. and Ann Sitton. Maryiann graduated from Reagan High School in Houston, Texas and the received her bachelors degree from Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo.
She was a professional gospel singer and Director of Children's Ministry for the state of Montana Assemblies of God. She also served as an evangelist for the Assemblies of God Church.
After leaving the Assemblies she became a member of the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches & Ministers International.
Maryiann was founder of Shiloh Christian Ministries, where she served as Director of Shiloh Training Institute and Shiloh Christian Retreat. She also ministered through television and internet ministry that covered the U.S., Asia, Middle East, India and Canada. The prophetic flowed through her life in powerful streams that impacted the lives of thousands.
Shiloh Training Institute students are serving on the mission fields of the world with the truth of the Word of God and the power of the Sprit of God that was imparted to them by Maryiann and her wonderful staff.
Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13 at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 at Barnabas Ministries Church with Arthur Keen officiating. Interment followed at Grantsdale Cemetery. A reception for family and friends took place at the church following the interment service.
