Each year, the Reverend Dr.
Boma Lawson hosts the "Prophetic Signal Conference" in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
These gatherings are not just another meeting of believers. The Nation receives prophetic impartation, the people receive prophetic direction, and God meets every need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Potter's Island has a huge squatter population. Mud huts and shacks
line a garbage filled, mosquito infested, swamp. The Prophetic Signal Conference
was held, Crusade fashion, in the middle of a field in the heart of this
area. Several hundred people came out each night to listen to the music,
dance, and hear the various speakers.
Each night people were saved, and/or healed and delivered. Two young
boys, both about 9 or 10 years old, were touched by the creative power
of God, in the name of Jesus. One was deaf and dumb, and the other was
deaf. Both received a complete miracle, as instantly they were able to
hear and speak. "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever"
(Hebrews 13:8 KJV). Glory!
One night I began to minister to the children by calling them all forward to the platform and teaching them, "I love Jesus, better than Icecream." Many of the kids were saved that night.
People would be drawn from the nearby street by the Holy Spirit. Challenged to come and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. The power of witches [juju's] and occultic practicioners was broken. The altars filled with people.
At the end of the week, all were invited to Calvary Temple International Church. Arrangements were made for transportation and clear directions given. A tent was raised next to the church building in anticipation of an overflow crowd. Sunday morning came and the church was filled. People were standing around the walls inside and out. The tent was filled with children. This was the first time the church had been full since it was built.
Several of the Calvary Temple men and women were ordained in a special
service that Sunday. I have since been told that three churches were planted
in the squatter area as three of the ministers were sent out into the field.
Calvary Temple is growing, thriving, and continuing to reach out to the
lost.
What a privilege it was for me to be used by our Lord during this momentous
week of harvest!
In between the meetings we made many new friends.
The fellowship was wonderful!
Nigeria Report 2000:
Over 150 were saved in three days of crusades in Ahoada,
Rivers State, Nigeria. Each are being followed up and brought in to local
churches. Hundreds were healed of all manner of sickness and disease.
Special teaching sessions were provided for the local pastors during the
day. Abundance 2000 meetings in Port Harcourt, Rivers State and in Warri,
Delta State with Pastor Joseph E. Okorhi saw another 100 people saved and
filled with the Holy Spirit as well as many healings and miracles.
Pastor's main assignment from God, however, was to prophecy
to the Nation.
It had been 11 years since the Stover's were in the Philippines and now, at long last, they were returning to minister and renew precious friendships. They were accompanied by Brother Bill Brittain of Wellspring Church of All Nations.
The team from Wellspring was welcomed like long lost family and the meetings were met with the power of God every where they ministered. A few of the places that the Lord allowed them to minister were: Harvest Time Training Center, ABS, Tandang Sora, Living Way Fellowship, International Women's Fellowship and Jesus Loves the City Church. Pastor George and Sharon said, "We can hardly wait to return next year!"
Many were saved, baptized in the Holy Spirit, healed and received prophetic impartation. It was a time of glory outpouring. Click here for video or here for slideshow.
Pastors George & Sharon, along with Brother Bill Brittain, had the privilege of ministering at the South Asian International Fellowship, pastored by Pritam Singh Sandu, in Singapore. Earlier in the morning they were special guests of New Creation Church, a 19,000 member congregation, pastored by Joseph Prince.
